Prof. Will Parsonage is a practicing cardiologist, clinician researcher and honorary secretary of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. Since 2016, he has served as Clinical Director of the Australian Centre for Health Services Innovation (AusHSI) at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). He also leads the Cardiac Health Services program.

His research addresses both common (e.g., acute chest pain) and rare (e.g., cardiac disease in pregnancy) cardiovascular conditions, with a strong focus on improving health service delivery. Dr. Parsonage has published over 170 peer-reviewed papers, including 60 in the past five years, accumulating over 5,000 career citations.
